 - If the parent is not thoroughly educated with the right understanding of Islam, he would always prefer dunya over deen for his children, he would force education on him for the sake of dunya rather than aakhirah his worries over this dunya will show and set the mindset of his children, that, what really matters is here and not hereafter, his choices, his preferences, his associations, his respect of people of dunya, his choices of attire... everything builds the mindset of the child. When the child turns conscious, he will work on what is set.
