Ramadan trains individuals so they can reform the world around them✨🍃

 -

🌙 Ramadan mubarak💪From Personal Tazkiyah🧠🫀👅🫁👁 to Collective Transformation💖

Ramadan is not only about hunger and thirst.

It is not only long salah, tears in du‘a, or completing the Qur’an!!

Yes....it is tazkiyah of the self and also it is the tazkiyah of society.

Ramadan trains individuals so they can reform the world around them✨🍃

🌿 1️⃣ Ramadan Begins with the Self But Does Not End There!!

Fasting teaches:

>Self-control over desires

>Discipline over impulses

>Patience under discomfort

>Consciousness that Allah sees us

If we can refrain from halal food for Allah, we can refrain from haram power, greed, injustice, and exploitation for Allah?

Ramadan asks:

If you can control your hunger,

can you control your ego?

If you can avoid water, can you avoid harming others?

🕌 2️⃣ The Qur’an Was Revealed to Transform Society

Masajids to be the resource centres for the transformation of societies, communities and nations!!

Ramadan is the month of Qur’an.

But the Qur’an was not revealed only for recitation!! It was revealed to:

>>End oppression

>>Protect women

>>Establish justice

>>Uplift the poor

>>Hold leaders accountable

>>Build moral communities

When Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) received revelation, it did not remain in the CAVE

It came out to reform markets, courts, homes, and leadership!!!

Ramadan reminds us: The Qur’an must be not only on our LIPS but also should enter our SYSTEMS!

⚖️ 3️⃣ Justice Is an Act of Worship

Fasting without justice is incomplete!!

Today we live in a world where:

>Powerful nations preach justice, security & human rights but protect their elites!!

>Women’s dignity, their protection, children's rights & security are spoken about publicly, yet all kinds of exploitation and deep high profile networks exist privately!!

>Wars are justified strategically while civilians suffer!

>Economic interests silence moral outrage!

Ramadan asks us to reflect:

>Are we only spiritual in the masjid

but silent about injustice outside it?!

The Qur’an repeatedly warned that nations fall when:

>Elites become unaccountable!

>Oppression is normalized!

>Economic greed overrides morality!

>Truth is selective!

Ramadan is not isolation from global reality but,

It is clarity about it.

🤝 4️⃣ Collective Responsibility

Ramadan builds community:

》We break fast together.

》We stand shoulder to shoulder.

》We give zakat and sadaqah.

》We feel the thirst & hunger of the poor.

But collective fasting must lead to collective reform.

It means:

》Supporting ethical leadership.

》Refusing to benefit from oppression.

》Protecting children and women in our own communities.

》Speaking truth with wisdom.

》Building organisations & institutions rooted in justice.

Silence in the face of corruption is not neutrality it is participation!

🌿 5️⃣ Reform Begins at Home

Societies collapse when:

●Families weaken.

●Children lack moral anchors.

●Abuse is hidden to protect reputation.

●Wealth circulates among the powerful.

●way of life becomes just a ritual without conscience.

Ramadan invites us to:

♡Heal family relationships.

♡Restore mercy in marriages.

♡Teach children accountability.

♡Build homes of integrity.

Because Medina was built on reformed individuals and families♡♡

🧠 6️⃣ Internal and External Purification

Ramadan purifies:

▪️The heart from arrogance.

▪️ The tongue from falsehood.

▪️ The stomach from excess.

▪️The ego from pride.

But it must also purify:

▪️ Our economic dealings from dishonesty.

▪️Our leadership from corruption.

▪️Our communities from hypocrisy.

▪️ Our alliances from injustice.

True fasting is when injustice starves❗️

🌍 7️⃣ A Message to Powerful Nations and to Ourselves

History shows:

No empire collapsed because of HUNGER

It collapsed because of MORAL DECAY❗️

>When power is protected over justice,

>when image is valued over integrity, >when elites are shielded,

>when war becomes industry

decline begins quietly.........

Ramadan teaches accountability before accountability is forced upon us.

🌙 Final Ramadan Reflection

Ramadan is not only:

*Abstaining from food.

*Lengthening prayer.

*Intensifying du‘a, but

It is:

☆Realigning power with justice.

☆Rebuilding trust in institutions.

☆Protecting the vulnerable.

☆Cleansing society through collective effort.

If we leave Ramadan

▪︎more spiritual but not more just,

▪︎more emotional, but not more ethical,

▪︎more ritualistic but, not more courageous

then we have missed its larger purpose❗️

RAMADAN came to transform MAKKAH into MADINA‼️

May this Ramadan:

>Cleanse our hearts.

>Reform our homes.

>Strengthen our communities.

>Inspire moral courage.

>Align our worship, our duties & responsibilities with justice & integrity InshaAllah

Ameen 🌙

A child doesn’t break loudly. It happens quietly:

 - Be honest with yourself for a moment… When you see a child struggling… angry… insecure… constantly seeking attention… do you ever stop and ask, what did they grow up around? Who was present… and who wasn’t? Who listened… and who dismissed? Who loved… and who controlled? The Prophet ﷺ didn’t just speak about worship… he spoke about responsibility. كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ Each of you is responsible… and each of you will be questioned. And Allah didn’t say fix the world. He said protect your families. قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا This is where it begins. A child doesn’t break loudly. It happens quietly… in the way they start doubting themselves… in the way they stop feeling safe… in the way they look for love in the wrong places. So ask yourself… What is your home producing? Because one day… your child will become someone’s spouse… someone’s parent… someone who shapes the world. And whatever you planted… will not stay inside your home. Source...

Islamic tradition has long possessed its own highly structured, time-tested system for internal regulation: Muhasabah (spiritual self-auditing):

 - "The intelligent person is the one who takes account of himself (subjugates his soul) and works for what comes after death. And the helpless person is the one who follows his desires and then entertains baseless hopes in Allah." (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2459; Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 4260) In an era dominated by hyper-connectivity and endless external noise, the human mind is rarely granted the space to simply pause. While modern psychology heavily promotes mindfulness as an antidote to this existential fatigue, Islamic tradition has long possessed its own highly structured, time-tested system for internal regulation: Muhasabah (spiritual self-auditing).  Far from being a vague, abstract concept, classical Islamic scholars treated self-reflection as an active, daily operational framework—a psychological necessity for purifying the heart and mastering the ego. By exploring the practical models left behind by giants like Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn al-Qayyim , we uncover a time...

# The Invisible Foundation: How Islamic Scholarship Built the Modern West:

 - The history of "Western" knowledge is often told as a straight line from Ancient Greece to the European Renaissance. However, modern scholarship reveals that this narrative has a massive "missing middle."  For over five hundred years, the Islamic Golden Age did not just "preserve" ancient knowledge—it revolutionized it, creating the very empirical and logical tools the West uses today. ## 1. Beyond Preservation: The Birth of Experimentation While the Greeks excelled in deductive reasoning (thinking from general principles), Islamic scholars introduced the **inductive, experimental method**. The most prominent figure was **Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen)**. In his *Kitab al-Manazir* (Book of Optics), he rejected the Greek theory that the eye emits light. More importantly, he established that theories must be proven through controlled, repeatable experiments (Piniés, n.d.). This methodological shift is now recognized as the foundational root of the modern scient...

Some of the traditional methods of raising children in Tarim (Yemen):

*Raising children* Some of the traditional methods of raising children in Tarim (Yemen). This is really beautiful. Women expecting children would ensure every morsel going into their mouths was halal. Breastfeeding mothers would repeatedly recite Ayah al-Kursi, Surah al-Falaq, Surah al-Nas and du'as of protection over their babies. When a child first began to speak it would be taught to say: رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبّاً، وبِالإِسْلامِ دِيناً، و بسيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَبِيَّاً ورَسُولاً ‘I am content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with our Master Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet and Messenger.’ Parents would teach their children the importance of making good intentions and what intentions to make just as they would teach them how to recite Surat al-Fatiha. Parents would teach their children to call upon Allah in every situation. If a child asked for something, his parents would tell him to perform wudu, pray two rak'ats and then ask Allah to fulfil his...

15 Things About The Character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Every Muslim Must Spread:

🌸15 Things About The Character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Every Muslim Must Spread: If there is any personality that has lived on the face of this earth who was complete in every regard and the life of whom can serve as a beacon of guidance for people of every walk of life, that personality would undeniably be the personality of Muhammad (PBUH). Muslims follow Him because of Him being the Prophet as their religion and those who do not follow Islam also hold Him at a higher pedestal when it comes to human character. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Saudi Arabia in the city of Makkah about 1400 years ago. Since then the world has not seen the likes of Him in every regard and the study of human history shows that there have been none better than Him before Him as well. The key factor that brings reverence and respect to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in both the Islamic and the non-Islamic circles is His character. He was the best in character and He also said about in one of His hadith...

A web-app that could assist the elderly with their namaz:

Assalamu Alaikum! I made a web-app for the elderly. Backstory: my Nani used to be very punctual with her prayers but suddenly she stopped praying. My mom promptly noticed this change and asked her why she wasn’t praying and she said that it’s because she forgets the ayat, or what to say, or even the rakat. So my mom would sit with her and basically pray the whole namaz with her. Now years later my mom asked me to make an app that could assist the elderly with their namaz. So I made this web-app. If you guys know anyone that’s at an age where they’re starting to forget things and you think this could benefit them. Just let them know about it and let me get that sawab.  Thanks, Sherry Click to open: https://www.salahcompanion.us Source: the above information is recieved through whatsapp

A Ramadan of Change – 26 of 30 ** A nightly appointment with an angel ** In Ramadan, the Prophet Mohammad PBUH would be blessed with a nightly appointment with angel Jibreel who’d mutually study with him the Qur’an. Describing this and its effects, Ibnu ‘Abbaas said: كَانَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - أجْوَدَ النَّاسِ، وَكَانَ أجْوَدَ مَا يَكُونُ في رَمَضَانَ حِيْنَ يَلْقَاهُ جِب...

The fitrah is already there when the child arrives. Your job as a parent is to protect it:

 - "We were hit and we turned out fine." Hamein to maar parhi. Hum to bilkul sahi hain. Gen Z is too soft. Maarna to pyar ki nishani hai. Allah ne permission di hai. Okay. Let's open that permission letter together. Because I want you to read what it actually says. THE HADITH PARENTS QUOTE TO DEFEND HITTING. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Command your children to pray when they become seven years old, and beat them for it when they become ten years old; and arrange their beds separately." (Sunan Abu Dawud 495 — graded Hasan) Now let's stay in the text. Because the text has been misread for generations. It says command at seven. Not hit. Command, teach, encourage. For three full years. Patience first. Always. It says at ten there is a permission. One permission. For one thing. Prayer. Not talking back. Not spilling juice. Not embarrassing you in front of your mother-in-law. Not being too loud. Not being soft. Prayer. That's it. And even then classical sc...

*It seems that every day the west is discovering that Halal / Islamic Sharia has benefits*:

Author unknown but needs reflection.... *French/ Hijab/ Niqab and Coronavirus* 😀 *French newspapers have announced that Muslim women who wear the Niqab* (full face covering) *have no fear of contacting the Coronavirus* since they do not shake hands or kiss other people and have their face covered. *It seems that every day the west is discovering that Halal / Islamic Sharia has benefits*. However I am holding my breath for French women to start wearing Hijab let alone the Niqab. Aussies are panic buying toilet tissue rolls as well as other commodities. *However some are now using water to wash* (instead of wiping with tissue). Water which is more hygienic, cleaner and refreshing. *Another Sharia requirement*. *Early Muslims in a village in Arabia had the plague* and it was mentioned to them by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that they had to stay in their village until the disease is conquered. *That was 1400 years ago*, now modern countries are applying the same Shariah ru...
