Allah SWT has directly given us at least 100 instructions through Al Quran :

1. Do not be rude in speech (3:159)
2. Restrain Anger (3:134)
3. Be good to others (4:36)
4. Do not be arrogant (7:13)
5. Forgive others for their mistakes (7:199)
6. Speak to people mildly (20:44)
7. Lower your voice (31:19)
8. Do not ridicule others (49:11)
9. Be dutiful to parents(17:23)
10. Do not say a word of disrespect to parents (17:23)
11. Do not enter parents’ private room without asking permission (24:58)
12. Write down the debt (2:282)
13. Do not follow anyone blindly (2:170)
14. Grant more time to repay if the debtor is in hard time (2:280)

16. Do not engage in bribery (2:188)

96. Those who have knowledge will be given a higher degree by Allah (58:11)
97. Treat non-Muslims in a kind and fair manner (60:8)
98. Save yourself from covetousness (64:16)
99. Seek forgiveness of Allah. He is Forgiving and Merciful (73:20)
100. Do not repel one who asks (93:10)

Allah willed a righteous spouse based on Niyah, Du'a and belief in qadr of Allah:

I would interpret this as Choosing Wisely and equating it to "Tying the camel". Yes, The Qur'an says: “Women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity.” (24:26) and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “A woman may be married for four reasons: for her property, for her rank, for her beauty, and for her religion (and character), so marry the one who is best in the religion and character and prosper.” (Bukhari) So yes, we must choose well but ultimately it comes down to Niyah, Du'a and belief in Qadr of Allah. This is the only equation that leads anywhere worthwhile. This is also hikmah.  - By: Iqbal Sattar Dear friend. I was educated up to 3rd standard in Dharwad in Government Urdu School. Our Teacher with white pagadi and hanging back portion was so nice. My father was an Education officer in Dharwad. He established many Urdu Schools, in Dharwad, Bijapur, Belgaum and Karwar. He used his approach to Urdu Schools in villages for community outreach. I completed my 7th in Belgaum Government Urdu School and SSC ie XIth in Islamiya High School Camp Belgaum. These 11 years of Urdu medium strengthen my love for Education. The teachers in those days were devoted. Our Headmasters and principal Late Adam Jamadar, were great personalities.  Library, newspaper, reading books, discussion, allocution competitions, sports, science exhibition, and Drama competition were part of Education. A man said to her, "Your son is capable of earning, then why are you begging here?"  The woman replied, "My husband has passed away and my son went foreign for a job. While going, he had given me some money for my expenses, which I have already spent and now I have no money, that is why I am begging here." The man asked again, "Doesn't your son send you anything from the foreign country?" The old lady replied, "Yes, my son keep sending me a colourful paper every month that I keep pasting on the wall." The man then went to her house and saw that 60 bank drafts were pasted on the wall. Each draft was of ₹50,000. Not wise enough, thus she did not know how much wealth she had at her home. Women expecting children would ensure every morsel going into their mouths was halal. Breastfeeding mothers would repeatedly recite Ayah al-Kursi, Surah al-Falaq, Surah al-Nas and du'as of protection over their babies.
