Have you ever wondered why Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) asked us to recite Surah Kahf every Friday?

*Surah Kahf*

Assalamu alaikum!

Its been a weekly routine for us to recite Surah Kahf every Friday, right? and we do it in most of the Fridays.

Now, have you ever wondered why Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) asked us to recite Surah Kahf every Friday?

Or is there any prefence for this surah over the rest 113 surahs? What's the benefit of reciting this weekly?

Lets check it out-

First of all, in this Surah Allah gives to us 4 different, but INTERESTING stories!

Lets explore each along with the lessons we get from each of them....

🔘1."The people of the cave"

It’s the story of young men who lived in a disbelieving town, so they decide to migrate for the sake of Allah and run away. Allah rewards them with mercy in the cave and protection from the elements of nature.
The lesson of this story is the 'Trial of Faith'❗

🔘2. "The owner of two gardens."

A story of a man whom Allah blessed with two beautiful gardens, but the man forgot to thank the One who blessed him with everything and he even dared to doubt Allah regarding the afterlife. So his garden was destroyed – he regretted it, but was too late and his regret did not benefit him.

Lesson of this story:
'Trial of wealth'❗

🔘3. "Musa(as) and Khidr (as)"

When Musa (as)was asked “Who is the most knowledgeable of the people of Earth?” Musa (as) said that it was him as he assumed he was the only prophet on Earth at the time. But Allah revealed to him that there’s someone who knows more than him about certain things. Musa (as)traveled looking for him and learned how divine wisdom can sometimes be hidden in matters which we perceive as bad.

And now to the FINAL one, its somewhat GLOBAL,

🔘4. "Dhul-Qarnayne"

Allah mentions the story of a great king who was given knowledge and power travelling the world helping people and spreading all that’s good. He was able to overcome the problem of Yajooj-Majooj by building a massive dam with the help of people whom he could not even understand.

Lesson of this story:

ALLAH says to us 4 kind of stories relating 4 kind of trials that WE ALL pass by in our day to day lives!

Now have a look through HADITHS to learn more about this surah....

🔖In many hadiths, the messenger of Allah (pbuh) mentions that the one who reads and memorises verses of Surah Al Kahf will be protected from the trials of the Dajjal!

❔NOW, why this Surah?

❔What is the relation between SURAH KAHF and DAJJAL??
The Answer is simple...

Dajjal will appear before the day of judgement with 4 trials:

🔘A) He will ask people to worship him and not Allah: Trial of faith!

🔘B) He will be given powers to start/stop rain and tempt people with his wealth:
Trial of wealth!

🔘C) He will tempt people with "knowledge” and news he gives them: Trial of knowledge!

D) He will control huge parts of the Earth:
Trial of power!

NOW JUST TAKE A  MOMENT AND SAY 'SUBHANALLAH'!!!!!

Now, we see Almighty Allah speaking to us about trials, don't you want a SOLUTION for those trials? We need, and ALLAH knows our need!!! So He tells us the solution as well in this Surah...let me just point out them with their AYAH NUMBERS so that you can look for those meanings ...

❤1.Good companionship
(In 28th ayah)
❤2. Knowing the truth of this world
(In 45th ayah)
❤3. Humility
(In 69th ayah)
❤4. Sincerity
(In 110th ayah)
❤5. Calling to Allah
(In 27th ayah)
❤6. Remembering the Hereafter
(In 47-49th ayahs)

Business is absolutely a reflection of your character:

 - A self-analysis on business failure! When I started a business, I made a loss and my mother who is a wise lady (her father & grandfather were successful businessmen) she commented, son there must be something wrong in your character because of that you made a loss.  I was a disciplined guy, but her remark stunned me. I stopped my business activities for some time and started reading books to understand what is character. (Translation of Quran & Seerah of Prophet (PBUH) and some other good books). After a few months of deep study, my final conclusion was, ”Character is what you do when nobody is watching”. The test of patience and Prophet Ayyoob (عليه السلام)

A piece of advice to our brothers and sisters especially in these times, read and ponder over the story of Prophet Ayyoob (عليه السلام). He had good health, big family, then he was tried with sickness and poverty for 18 years! And the loss of his family except his wife. "And (remember) Ayyoob, when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me,& You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy. So We responded to him & removed what afflicted him of adversity." (21:83) He called upon his Lord directly and His Kind Lord answered him. Practice the art of patience at the time of facing adversity and pain, which we might face for Allah's sake:

*Muslim's Religious Persecution & It's Solution Through Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ* Throughout the ages, we Muslims have been suffering for following the religion that we love - Islam. Spend and do not be afraid of a decrease from the Owner of the Throne:

-  "A man asked his friend: Are you not afraid when you give money to the poor that the crisis is prolonged..and you may need this money ? I expected the response would be: “Charity does not decrease wealth” or " Spend and I shall spend on you.’”   But the answer was new to me. He said with full confidence: The spenders are like martyrs.. "They shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve."  So I searched in the Noble Qur’an for the validity of this saying, and found that "there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve" was indeed mentioned in reference to both the Martyrs and Spenders.  It was mentioned twice towards the spenders in Surat Al-Baqarah.  Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. No soul will die until it has received all its provision:

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. So fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision; take that which is permissible and leave that which is forbidden." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 12, Hadith 2227)
