When a westerner said, 'we should learn ethics and family values from them':

- A German commentator talked about the scenes of Moroccan players hugging and kissing their parents and group prayers after each match. He said:  “We no longer see the intimate family bonds in our western societies.  The concept of family is fading, and we can only see the players kissing their models and girlfriends while their parents are left in nursing homes. The moral support of the family played a big role in Morocco’s wins, while we came to support homosexuality and place our hands on our mouths. We taught them (means the Moroccans) how to play football, so they excelled and exceeded us, and we should learn ethics and family values from them, hoping one day we see our players kissing the forehead of their mothers and fathers too.” Source: received through WhatsApp

An annual conference for education development (18th Conference):

 * 18th Annual Millat Conference (by MFERD)* #* Perform to Potential*# - Building Holistic Education Systems Dear Brother/Sister, Assalamu Alaikum All praise is to the Almighty Lord who created us and bestowed upon us the title of ‘Khalifa’, His vicegerent on earth. This implies that every individual has the ‘potential’ to perform the duties of the Almighty’s vicegerent. Unfortunately, due to several internal and external hindrances, man doesn’t live up to his potential. Similar is the case of our institutions. In the present world scenario, firmly anchoring and strengthening our educational institutions is of prime importance. It is probably the only way to create a collectively contributing ummah, that can positively influence the future of societies and countries. A handful of schools providing holistic education can significantly change the outlook of an entire city. Such is the potential of educational institutions. But the challenge lies in developing systems and practices (acade

Do not weep from a life that made your heart weep. Just say, “Oh Allah compensate me with good in this life and the hereafter:

-  Advice from Imam Ibn al-Qayyim ‏رحمه الله “A friend will not (literally) share your struggles, and a loved one cannot physically take away your pain, and a close one will not stay up the night on your behalf. So look after yourself, protect yourself, nurture yourself and don’t give life’s events more than what they are really worth. Know for certain that when you break no one will heal you except you, and when you are defeated no one will give you victory except your determination. Your ability to stand up again and carry on is your responsibility.  Do not look for your self worth in the eyes of people; look for your worth from within your conscious. If your conscious is at peace then you will ascend high and if you truly know yourself then what is said about you won’t harm you. Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allah. And do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from Allah. And do not carry the anxiety for the future because it is in the Hands of

Eid Mubarak - Stay Blessed:

 - We have completed the month of Ramadan with lots of prayers, salah, taqwa, charity and good deeds. Lets protect our good deeds and add them more. Ramazan is a holy month whereby the piousness is seen everywhere. The month of Ramazan is a practice of good deeds, so let us continue whatever we have been doing in Ramazan. Let us smile. Let us care for our wellbeing, as well as wellbeing of people around us. Let us give time to our family, friends and community around us. Let us do our work with dedication, and Iqlas. Let us fill our Iman with the light of Noor. Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) said,   “The most beloved of people according to Allah is he who brings most benefit to people, and the most beloved of deeds according to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that you bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or stave away hunger from him. It is more beloved to me that I walk with my brother Muslim in his time of need than I stay secluded in th

Speaking in soft positive manner would not cost you anything but would enchant those you speak to and get rid of any ill feelings:

There was once a king who saw in a dream that all his teeth had fallen out. He called a dream-interpreter, told him what he saw in the dream, and asked him to interpret it. When the interpreter heard the dream, his complexion changed and he began to repeat, “Allāh’s refuge is sought! Allāh’s refuge is sought!” The king became worried and asked, “What is the interpretation of my dream?” The interpreter said, “After many years pass, your wife and children will die and you will be all alone in your kingdom!” The king screamed, became furious, and began to hurl abuses and insults. He then ordered that the interpreter be imprisoned and called another interpreter, related to him what he saw in the dream and asked him for its interpretation. The dream-interpreter smiled and said, “Glad tidings, dear king!” The king said, “What is the interpretation of the dream?” The interpreter said, “It means that you will live for very long – so long that you will be the last of your family to die, and yo

 - STORY 22 - Uncle Mohammad    Uncle Mohammad was a taxi driver in Makkah; he lived in an area called al-Jomoom about 20 miles outside the city limits. He was a hard-working man with a big family to support. He had always dreamt of being rich, not only so he could take better care of his family, but as he often expressed, to fulfil his desire to donate large sums for the sake of Allah.   One day, he said to his friend, “ You know what? I need to stop waiting to be rich to give more for Allah. I am starting this week.” The friend asked, "What will you do?"   Uncle Mohammad already had a plan, and his plan was simple. He decided to assign one day a month for the sake of Allah. He would not charge passengers any money that day. All rides would be free for the sake of Allah.  The taxi driver was struggling with all the expenses related to his taxi license, taxes, home expenses, etc. The taxi business was already suffering. It was not like it used to be in Makkah. It was much har
