What is the secret of your piety?

Someone asked Hassan Al Basri (ra): “What is the secret of your piety?” He replied; I understood 4 things:

👉1. I understood my rizq cannot be taken by anyone so my heart is contended.

👉2. I understood no one can do my actions. (worship) so I started doing them myself.

👉3. I understood ALLAH azzawajal watching me, so I felt shame to do wrong.

👉4. I understood death is waiting for me so I started to prepare for my meeting with ALLAH azzawajal.

May Almighty grant us better understanding of His Deen ... A'ameen 🤲

A believer's story of a Quarintine:

Assalamu Alaikum Alhamdhulillah ... By the grace of Almighty Allah, I reached home yesterday by the Delhi... Trivandrum special train. And now I'm under home quarantine for two weeks in the upper flat of our residence. My children and grandchildren are all away, so strict quarantine is made easy. I request you all to make Dhua for ease. We started for Nizaamudheen on the 11th of February, from Kollam ( Ab. Kareem Sb of Poredam, Thaha Sr of Pattazy and myself ), to spend two months in Nizaamudheen Markaz for Thartheeb. But eventually, as you know, things took a different course. Insha Allah, it will be exactly 4 months on 11th June, when we finish the ongoing quarantine. This story about “Istighfar” is from the life of Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal, often referred to as the “Sheikh ul-Islam” or the “Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah.” During his old age, while Imam Ahmed was travelling he stopped by a town. After the prayers, he wanted to stay for the night in the masjid yard because he didn’t know anyone in the town. Owing to his humility, he hadn’t introduced himself to anyone thinking that if he did, he would be welcomed by many people. Failing to recognize Ahmed bin Hanbal, the caretaker of the mosque refused to let him stay in the mosque. As Imam Ahmed was quite old, the caretaker had to drag him out of the mosque.
