Our habits say about our progeny:

May this Eid be a time for spiritual renewal, strengthened bonds:

 ##  Eid Mubarak: A Time for Reflection, Commitment, Sacrifice, and Humility Eid al-Fitr, a joyous celebration marking the end of Ramadan, is more than just exchanging gifts and feasting with family. It's a culmination of a month dedicated to self-improvement, a chance to reflect on the past, recommit to our values, and carry the lessons learned into the future.  1.  **Reflection: A Look Back on Ramadan** Eid is a time to appreciate the sacrifices made during Ramadan. We fasted, prayed, and practiced charity, all while confronting our weaknesses and strengthening our connection with Almighty. During Eid celebrations, let's take a moment to reflect on this journey. What did we learn about ourselves? How can we maintain the spiritual momentum gained in Ramadan? 2. **Commitment: Renewing Our Vows** Eid is a powerful reminder of the importance of commitment. We committed to fasting and prayer during Ramadan, and now we recommit to living a life guided by Islamic princip...

Its Hajj time: Remembering the meaning of sacrifice and sincerity:

*Peace be upon Prophet Ibraheem* Allah ordered him to take his family to a barren desert which had no inhabitants, no food, no water, and no means of provision. He didn't doubt or ponder. He obeyed. Allah ordered him to leave his wife and baby child in the blazing heat. He didn't think or doubt. He obeyed. Later on, Allāh instructed to sacrificed his child. He obeyed. You know the only thing Prophet Ibrahim's wife asked, "Was it Allah who ordered you to do this?" - That's it, she did not look at the pleasure of the world. She looked at the pleasure of Allah. She clutched onto her newborn whilst staring at an empty desert and it only increased her in conviction. You know how beloved her action was to Allah? thousands of years later, people give up everything to go to Makkah in order to imitate her and to quench their thirsts with Zam Zam - and they will be doing this until the last day. You know how accepted Sayyiduna Ibrahim's act of sincerity was? Peopl...

Allah will test us to show the true among us and what we are made of:

 - STORY 22 - Uncle Mohammad    Uncle Mohammad was a taxi driver in Makkah; he lived in an area called al-Jomoom about 20 miles outside the city limits. He was a hard-working man with a big family to support. He had always dreamt of being rich, not only so he could take better care of his family, but as he often expressed, to fulfil his desire to donate large sums for the sake of Allah.   One day, he said to his friend, “ You know what? I need to stop waiting to be rich to give more for Allah. I am starting this week.” The friend asked, "What will you do?"   Uncle Mohammad already had a plan, and his plan was simple. He decided to assign one day a month for the sake of Allah. He would not charge passengers any money that day. All rides would be free for the sake of Allah.  The taxi driver was struggling with all the expenses related to his taxi license, taxes, home expenses, etc. The taxi business was already suffering. It was not like it used to be in Makk...
