Dr Robert Crane now a Pious Muslim named as Farooq Abdul Haq- A Phd in International law, a US Preseident's Ex Advisor, to a Pious Muslim story:

Former US President Richard Nixon’s adviser is Robert Crane.

He holds: Doctorate in Public Law.

 • PhD in International Law.

 • President of the Harvard Society of International Law.

He later became President Nixon's foreign affairs adviser.

He was also the Deputy Director of the US National Security Council.

 • He is considered an expert in Political Affairs in the United States.

 • He is founder of the Center for Civilization and Modernization in the United States.

He speaks fluently in six living languages.

What's the story?

One day President Nixon wanted to read about "Islamic Principles and Rules", so he asked CIA to prepare a research paper on the subject for him.

Assigned CIA cadre wrote a detail research paper and submitted to President Nixon.

But Nixon felt the paper was a bit lengthy and detailed. So he asked his adviser, Robert Crane, to read and summarize the article.

Robert read the article and summarized it for the president, but the contents of the article forced Robert to do more research on Islam. So he attended Islamic seminars and conferences to learn more about the subject.

Then came the day when ROBERT Crane converted to Islam, inspired by the Islamic teachings. Word of his conversion spread throughout the USA.

After converting to Islam, he changed his Islamic name to "Farooq Abdul Haq".

Explaining the reason for converting to Islam, he says:

As a law student, I found all the laws in Islam that I studied.

I studied law at Harvard University for 3 years but I never found the word "justice" in their law, whereas

I found this word frequently in Islam.

He converted to Islam in 1981 and named himself "Farooq" after Second Caliph  Omar Farooq, who was the Imam of Justice after demise of Holy Prophet (PBUH)

He said: "Once we were having a legal debate. A professor of Jewish law was also with us. When  the Jewish Professors demeanor became excessive, I decided to subdue him.

I asked him: Do you know the extent of Inheritance Law in the US Constitution?

He said: Yes, he has more than eight volumes.

I said: If I bring you a Law of Inheritance which is not more than ten lines, will you believe that Islam is a true religion?

He said: It is not possible that such a long and wide law of inheritance can be summed up in just ten lines ...

I took the verses of inheritance from the Holy Quran and presented it to him.

A few days later he came to me and said: It is not possible for a human mind to cover all its close relatives so wide that it leaves no one behind and then distribute the inheritance among them so justly that didnt oppress anyone ...

Then this Jewish Professor reverted to Islam !!

Dr. Robert Crane (Farooq) is yet alive and kicking at the ripe age of 91 years. He is happily sharing the candles of Islam in America.

May Almighty Allaah light millions of Candles from his Candle!!

The Muslims in India should be like the Franciscans, who, with deep commitment, declared their convictions from the housetops rather than remaining reclusive and withdrawn from public life. That’s what Muslims should do, while eschewing violence.

Rasoolullah's ﷺ Shoes and Leather Socks:

Rasoolullah (ﷺ) wore shoes like sandals or slippers. Rasoolullah (ﷺ) also wore black leather socks and during Wadhu passed his moist hanks over them (made Masah). His shoes had two straps between the toes (Uswah: Mirqaat). There was a strap at the back as well. The Shoes of Rasoolullah (ﷺ) were one span and two fingers long and 7 fingers wide; there was a space of two fingers between the two straps at the toe end (Uswah) Rasoolullah (ﷺ)used to wear shoes made of leather that was smooth after the removal of the animal hair, and after wadhu He would place his feet into them because they were pure and made in such a way that his toes would thouch the ground. (Uswah) Rasoolullah (ﷺ) also wore shoes made of smooth leather. (Mishkaat) Rasoolullah (ﷺ) would would grip his shoes with his left thumb and index finger. Understand prayers we offer:

Fard : obligatory prayer Sunnah : Prophet's tradition Wajib: obligatory prayer (Denying a Fard makes one a non-Muslim but denying a Wajib makes one a sinner. One must make up any missed Fard or Wajib prayers.) Nafl : voluntary prayer And again how sunnah is divided: The sunnah are again divided into Sunnah Muakkadah and Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah. Sunnah Muakkadah: means an act that Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, always used to do. These rakats must be offered. (However if missed, there is no makeup or qada for it). Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah: are sunnahs that Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, used to leave sometimes without any reason. These are not obligatory. Thanks for reading. I felt many of us have lack of clarity on this basic concept of Namaz we offer. Jazakallah hu khair. Source: Received as whatsaap message. Republished in this blog.

Have we ever thought about kind of friends and companions we have: Glance through this friendship test-

Does your friends have this qualities ; 4 QUALITIES OF A RIGHTEOUS FRIEND 1. When you see them, they remind you of Allah. 2. When you sit with them, it increases your Imaan. 3. When they speak to you, it increases your knowledge of deen. 4. When you see their actions, you remember the Akhirah. What does Quran say : “Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous” {Surat Az-Zukhruf, 43:67} What do pious people say ; ❝There is nothing that corrupts a person or rectifies him more than [his] companion.❞ - Sufyan al-Thawri رحمه الله ❝Companionship with good people leads to beneficial knowledge, virtuous manners and righteous deeds, whilst companionship with bad people prevents one from all of this.❞ - Imaam as-Sa’dee ( رحمه الله) “Bahjatul-Abraar” p. 226 ❝Have lots of belie...

So be patient with beautiful patience:

#Sabr-#Patience وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ ✨ *"And be patient for the sake of your Lord."*♥ -[Al Qur'an, 74:7] It ain't easy, to always keep your train of thoughts to be positive, vibrant and happy. Rather it's takes humongous effort from your side. The effort to believe that Allah isn't restraining something you desire except to direct you to a greater path of excellence. The effort to believe with all your heart that, Yes! Allah Subawanata'ala, who named Himself- Al Wadood, The Most Loving, does love "you". He loves you with all your imperfections, unless we too constantly purify ourselves for His sake. It takes a real believer of faith to acknowledge his shortcomings, own up for it, and pick himself up from the downtrodden shackles of life, be embarked with goodness, and then make revolution to happen. Patience is a virtue, that's bitter than bitte...

WE ARE 100% ON DUTY:

CAN A MUSLIM  DRINK ALCOHOL? When a European Airline was initially launched, a PRACTICING MUSLIM  gentleman was traveling in the first class section. An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink, but the man politely refused. The air hostess returned but this time brought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress. However, the MUSLIM man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol. The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers. He questioned, “Is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.” The man replied, “I am a MUSLIM and I do not drink alcohol? The manager still insisted that the man take the drink. Then, the MUSLIM  proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcoho...

The test of patience and Prophet Ayyoob (عليه السلام)

A piece of advice to our brothers and sisters especially in these times, read and ponder over the story of Prophet Ayyoob (عليه السلام). He had good health, big family, then he was tried with sickness and poverty for 18 years! And the loss of his family except his wife. "And (remember) Ayyoob, when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me,& You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy. So We responded to him & removed what afflicted him of adversity." (21:83) He called upon his Lord directly and His Kind Lord answered him. Allaah تعالى  described His noble Prophet- Ayyoob (عليه السلام) in His saying: إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِرًا ۚ نِّعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ "Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)!" (38:44) Imām 'Abdur Rahmān As-Sa'dee (رحمه الله) mentioned, ..."Ayyoob (عليه السلام) became an example for the patient ones, a co...

What is the secret of your religiousness?

Someone asked *Hassan Al Basri:* *"What is the secret of your religiousness?"* He replied : "I understood 4 things: 1. I understood that *my RIZQ cannot be taken by anyone, so my heart became content.* 2. I understood that *no one can do my actions (worship) for me, so I started doing them myself.* 3. I understood that *Allah is watching me, so I became ashamed to do wrong.* 4. I understood that *death is waiting for me, so I started to prepare for my meeting with Allah."* May Allah grant us this understanding, and the ability to act, أمين ‏يا رب العالمين Ameen ya rabbul alameen. *Rizq is only from Allah (S.W.T)*:

A man is absent from his work one day & during that day his boss realises how much work he does, so decides to increase his pay. On pay day when he receives more money the man doesn't say anything. A few days later he is absent again & the boss is angry & decides to cut his pay. When he gets less money on pay day he again quietly takes the money without saying anything. The boss asks him the reason & he says the first time I was absent I was blessed with a child & when u increased my salary I realised that he brought his rizq with him The second time I lost my mother & when u decreased my salary I knew she took her rizq with her. He said why should I argue when اللّه Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has taken responsibility on Himself to provide rizq for everyone. Nabi SallAllahu aliyhi wasallam said (PBUH) “If you place your trust completely in Allah, as it ought to be, then surely you will be provided sustenance in the manner that ...
