Practice the art of patience at the time of facing adversity and pain, which we might face for Allah's sake:
*Muslim's Religious Persecution & It's Solution Through Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ*
Throughout the ages, we Muslims have been suffering for following the religion that we love - Islam. Right from the day one of the proclamation of Islam by our Noble prophet ﷺ, we suffered the brutality and pain, just for the love of Allah and His beloved ﷺ. In fact, the prophet ﷺ himself was someone who had endured this pain, for us, to show us what to do in such testing times.
If we reflect upon the journey made by the prophet ﷺ to Taif, the suffering which entailed him, as well as the manner in which he returned to Makkah, we can derive the following conclusions and solutions for our testing times today.
Few people might mistakenly think that the prophet ﷺ was defeated in Taif. But the reality is that he received all these trials willingly, swallowing the bitterness with patience, for the benefit of humanity. Otherwise, it was super easy for him to take revenge on the foolish men who had ordered the children to pelt stones at him. He ﷺ chose not to retaliate, and its evidences are found in both Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Sayyida Ayesha (ra).
The mother of Muslims asked messenger of Allah ﷺ "Ya RasoolAllah ﷺ, have you ever gone through any experience more trying than the battle of Uhud?"
He ﷺ replied: "The most difficult thing I ever suffered at the hands of your people was on the day when I presented myself (and Islam) to Ibn Abd Yaleel ibn Abd Kilal (the chief of Taif) and he did not respond to me as I expected. (The prophet ﷺ was stoned and He bled). I departed, feeling lost, and remained in the state until I reached Qarn al Tha'alib. I looked up and found that I was in the midst of a cloud which had overshadowed me. When I looked up to see what was happening, I saw Jibraeel (as) in the cloud saying: 'Allah has heard the words spoken to you by your people and the manner in which they responded to you. Moreover he has sent you the angel of the mountains for you to give him whatever command you desire."'
"The angel of mountains then greeted me and said: 'O messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Almighty has heard the words spoken to you by your people and I am the angel of mountains. Your creator has sent me to you, for you to give me whatever command you wish. What, then, do you command? If you want me to bring the two great mountains of Makkah down upon them, I will do so.' But I said: All I wish is that may Allah bring from the people of Taif, those who worship Allah alone, and associate no partners with Him."
Thus, by the means of his suffering, Rasoolllah ﷺ taught his companions and the Muslim nation something which emerged after them to practice the art of patience at the time of facing adversity and pain, which we might face for Allah's sake.
The Seerah of our Nabi ﷺ is the only hope for humanity till the ending times. We can pray that Allah grant immense patience to the persecuted Muslims today, no matter where in the world they are, and give hidayah to those who are acting against Muslims and Islam. Aameen.
