Assalamu Alaikum
Alhamdhulillah ... By the grace of Almighty Allah, I reached home yesterday by the Delhi... Trivandrum special train. And now I'm under home quarantine for two weeks in the upper flat of our residence. My children and grandchildren are all away, so strict quarantine is made easy. I request you all to make Dhua for ease.
We started for Nizaamudheen on the 11th of February, from Kollam ( Ab. Kareem Sb of Poredam, Thaha Sr of Pattazy and myself ), to spend two months in Nizaamudheen Markaz for Thartheeb. But eventually, as you know, things took a different course.
Insha Allah, it will be exactly 4 months on 11th June, when we finish the ongoing quarantine.
We were put in forced quarantine for 58 days in 4 different quarantine camps in Delhi without periodic tests. The entire Ramadhaan and Edul Fithr was spent in the camps. We had the unique distinction of having total vegitarian food for a full Ramadhaan and even on the Eid day! But in spite of it all, Alhamdhulillah, we were all peaceful and quiet doing all the Aemaals of jamath, like Mashura, Khidhmath, Thaeleem, thaeroofy, gusth, bayan and talk after Fajir. It has been a jamath with a difference.
In the course of our stay in the so called quarantine camp, we were helped by many people including doctors, medical staff, mess boys, policemen and cleaning staff. And the majority among them were Non- Muslim sisters and brothers. An young Sikh lady doctor, whom I did not see, was of utmost help, through mobile phone and she even went out of the way to get our tests done on time, the last time. A Hindu police officer from the intelligence department was very helpful and kind and made phone calls every other day to enquire about our well-being. We could not do anything in return to these good human beings, except that Dhuas were made for their Hidhayath.
Kindness and generosity are learned tendencies which we acquire from our parents and other significant elders in the family and neighborhood, which has no religion. There is good and bad in people of all religious background.
The difference between a Muemin and an ordinary person is that, the Muemin has everything at hand, from the life of Rasulullahi (SA) and the Sahaba (RA ). He just have to follow them! ... that is all... because we have a method of doing ...for anything and everything! But the other person who has not recited the Kalima is devoid of this. And he just follows what he thinks is correct.
Alhamdhulillah.. it is Allah's mercy that he gave us a chance to be born into a family of believers! Our Nabi (SA) said that every baby is born Muslim, and it is his upbringing that converts him into a nonbeliever and mushrik.
So, it is our duty to live with Eamaan and Amalussalihath so that people understand this glorious Dheen of Allah from our life. In contemporary world people have misunderstood Islam, seeing our Dheenlessness. The only remedy is to change our life styles to the original Dheen, imparted to us by our beloved Nabi (SA). This cannot be achieved merely by making a few speeches or publishing a few books. It requires Mujaahadha in the path of Allah ....
Our duty is to see that all people attain Hidhayath and escape the fire. Our forefathers, the Sahaba (RA) were concerned about it and they followed Rasulullahi (SA) in every walk of their lives, as a result people around them attained Hidhayath!
We too have to be doing the same so that these good people around us escape the fire 🔥. .... So, make Niyyath to go in jamath the sooner the obstacles are cleared for four months. And come back to take up the five masjidwar Aemaals sincerely. May the Almighty Allah bless us with the Thoufeeq .... Aameen!
