Prophet (s.a.w) warned his Companions from harming or abusing their animals:

- The Prophet Muhammed ﷺ: THE ADVOCATE FOR ANIMAL RIGHTS From the mercy of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is His ﷺ mercy towards animals. He ﷺ taught His ﷺ followers that even animals have rights and that we must show them mercy and kindness. He ﷺ warned his Companions from harming or abusing their animals. On one occasion, the Prophetﷺ came across an emaciated camel that was tied up to a column. Seeing this distressed Himﷺ. He told His ﷺCompanions to fear God with respect to these animals, as they will be held accountable on the Day of Judgement in their treatment regarding them.
