•        Surah Anfal continues in this Juz and talks about the spoils of war and its distributive methods.

•        The Battle of Badr is mentioned once again.

•        In this battlefield, the land on which the polytheists of Makkah had had stationed was a smooth plain. They also had water at their end. In contrast, the land where the Muslims had camped was very sandy, which posed difficulty to walk on; availability of water was scarce too. Despite these foundational difficulties, Allah granted victory to Muslims, so that the Muslims at and the polytheists at Badr who fought the war, and the rest of the world till the end of times can adjudge who was on the right path.

•        Following are the Quranic principles of gaining Allah’s support are being mentioned, they are:

1.        Steadfastness.

2.        Abundant remembrance (dhikr) of Allah.

3.        Refrainment from internal conflicts.

4.        Observation of patience during inconvenient times against the enemy.

•        The Divine Rule: The defeat at Badr brought disgrace to the Quraishi polytheists of Makkah. If any nation slips into disobedience rather than thankfulness, and injustice rather than obedience (of Allah), then it has been Allah’s rule to also change the situation of that community and involve it into calamities so that they can retrospect.

•        The secret of any nation’s rise or fall: Then the indisputable rule of nations’ rise and fall is being mentioned: Allah does not bring downfall to any nation unless it degrades itself (in terms of everything: manners, justice, political system, trade & commerce, economics, etc.).

•        Shaytan’s escape from Badr: Shaytan was present in human form at Badr during the combat, in the form of Suraqah bin Maalik. He was provoking the disbelievers to fight. But when he saw Sayyiduna Jibraeel (alaihissalam) descend with 3000 (three thousand) angels, he started to escape. When the disbelievers asked him, he said: “I see what you cannot see. I am afraid of Allah, and His grip is very intensely tough.”

•        Allah asked to deal strictly with those people who break agreements.

•        Muslims were advised to prepare for Badr on these lines:

1.        Materially (through wealth etc.)

2.        Militarily

3.        Spiritually

•        Verse 72 talks about maintaining hearty relations with those who love Allah and believe in Him.

•        Surah Taubah: This chapter talks about the acceptance of the Taubah (repentance) of those three sincerely companions who did not come forward in a Ghazwah.

•        The Basmalah is not read before reciting this Surah.

•        It declares that Prophet Muhammed ﷺ gave his due right by introducing Allah’s commands (Islam) to humanity.

•        This Surah also exposed the true character of the then hypocrites who were soft deniers of Zakah and combats for defending Islam.

•        Allah the Exalted advised Muslims to love Allah, His Prophet ﷺ, and the struggle in the way of Allah, more than the love of materialistic things of this world.

•        It is being mentioned that Muslims, since the beginning, despite being few in numbers, struggled in the way of Allah through persistence and by seeking Allah’s help.

•        However, in Hunain the Muslims outnumbered the disbelievers. Somehow, they felt superior. But the archers of the opponents scattered them. It was due to the persistence of Prophet Muhammed ﷺ that they all assembled again.

•        Verse 40 talks about the virtue of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra), for his sacrifice and proactive support for Prophet Muhammed ﷺ.

•        The chieftain of hypocrites Abdullah bin Ubayy was involved in deep enmity with Prophet Muhammed ﷺ. But when he died, Prophet Muhammed ﷺ didn’t take even a second’s time to lead his funeral prayer. Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (ra) kept on questioning Prophet Muhammed ﷺ, as if he didn’t want our prophet ﷺ to lead the funeral prayers.

Allah revealed the verse which said that even if the prophet ﷺ prayed for Abdullah bin Ubayy for 70 times, he will not be forgiven. Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said about this revelation to Sayyiduna Umar (ra), but also said told him that if Allah were to forgive Ibn Ubayy if he prayed for the 71st time, he would still pray for his forgiveness. (Allahu Akbar!)

Parents should not depend on others for the correct upbringing of their children, they should take responsibility themselves:

A pattern and rule for the house. Dr Abdul Kareem Bakkaar from Syria famous for his sayings, an author of more than 40 books, who taught in most of the universities in Saudi Arabia. He mentions: Parents should not depend on others for the correct upbringing of their children, they should take responsibility themselves and make the children responsible for their own good character. It will be good if parents make some light rules in the house so that the children can understand the importance of fulfilling responsibilities and good character can become part of their lives. Parents should take what is relavent for them and if they so wish, change and add some points. 1. Every person in the house should perform Salaah on it’s  correct time. 2. "Please" and "Jazakallah" are of utmost importance, no one will be exempt from using it. 3. Hitting, fighting, swearing and cursing will not be tolerated. 4. Your thinking and views will be presented with complete respe...

An annual conference for education development (18th Conference):

 * 18th Annual Millat Conference (by MFERD)* #* Perform to Potential*# - Building Holistic Education Systems Dear Brother/Sister, Assalamu Alaikum All praise is to the Almighty Lord who created us and bestowed upon us the title of ‘Khalifa’, His vicegerent on earth. This implies that every individual has the ‘potential’ to perform the duties of the Almighty’s vicegerent. Unfortunately, due to several internal and external hindrances, man doesn’t live up to his potential. Similar is the case of our institutions. In the present world scenario, firmly anchoring and strengthening our educational institutions is of prime importance. It is probably the only way to create a collectively contributing ummah, that can positively influence the future of societies and countries. A handful of schools providing holistic education can significantly change the outlook of an entire city. Such is the potential of educational institutions. But the challenge lies in developing systems and practices (a...

Love towards my Kind Teacher (S.A.W):

Love is when Bilal (Radhiallahu 'anhu) stopped giving the adhan after the death of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) Love is Bilal leaving Madina after the Prophet’s (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) death because everything reminded him of his beloved Love is Bilal seeing the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in a dream telling him, "what is with this dryness/distance oh Bilal?" when a long time had elapsed since he visited the Prophet's (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) grave, prompting Bilal to head to Madinah upon waking Love is Bilal arriving in Madinah in the middle of the night and Hasan and Hussain (Radhiallahu 'anhum) finding him at the maqam of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) crying and Hasan and Hussain insisting that he give the adhan for Fajr. People came rushing to the masjid: weeping and anguished - reminded of their days with the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) Love is Bilal…when Umar ibn al Khattab (Radhiallahu 'anhu) asked h...

NASEEHA to ME and YOU!!

OUR PHONES ...................... One of the hardest task in this 21st century is for the youths to spend 30 mins without "touching" their phones! Almost everyone is now a phone addict. It's the last thing you touch before you sleep at night. It's the first thing you touch when you wake up at dawn Some even put earpiece on their ears overnight. Some still wake at night to download films but they can't wake up for tahajud. Some are always "online" chatting. As early as 6am they are online and they remain online till midnight. They have thousands of friends online whom they chat with but they don't relate with their families at home. They isolate themselves in their rooms. Some argue till midnight about aqeedah issues, yet by fajr time, he is sleeping and snoring. Immediately after the tasleem in salat, you see people pressing their phones again, no time for adhkaar! As if all their past and future sins have already been forgiven! When a...
